With a name like Friends In Space one isn't surprised when they pour this can into a glass and receive a rocket to the nose holes of pineapple, starfruit, and mango. After the turbulence of the pour settles, softer notes of guava, kumquat, and lemon peel eke their way to the front and wash the palate clean with a veritable void of maltiness and mild in-terms-of-IPA bitterness that doesn't linger for more than a few seconds and then leaves behind a lovely finish on the tongue of lemon oils, white grape peels, and the juice from pineapple chunks.

Can poured into into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces very nicely.
S: Tropical fruit, zesty citrus, resinous spicy pine, berries, subtle slightly dank herbal notes, biscuity malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
T: Opens with a quick hit of slightly dank herbal notes, then shifts to resinous spicy pine and zesty citrus, grapefruit and lemon lime, before softening a bit to orange/tangerine and limoncello, followed by some tropical and stone fruit, pineapple, strawberry, blueberry, passion fruit, apricot, and mango, faint floral notes, biscuity malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, slightly prickly moderate carbonation, a bit chewy, slight hop burn can show up as it warms.
O: There's a lot going on in there and it keeps evolving as it warms, with the darkness up front fading and the berries becoming more pronounced. Everything goes together quite nicely. I dig how the Mosaic and Strata play together and the Galaxy does a nice job rounding things out.
