It’s hazy, color is on the orange side. Foam is relatively thin but fine. It smells like orange juice. It taste no bitter, and it’s sweet. It’s full bodied, creamy and smooth. The Citra hops’s orange fruity is dominant, Galaxy contributed the melon and juniper grassy. The beer doesn’t have too much stings from lupulin, so it’s much softer on my tongue. The fruity aroma have citrus blossom’s floral pairing together, I can sense white peach and Japanese plum’s fragrance, newly cut lettuce’s fresh grassy scents, watermelon’s peel’s fresh aroma and ending with some Matcha’s tea oil stings. The aftertaste is hoppy, feels like cypress in sea breathe, orange peel’s zesty. When it’s warmer the lupulin powder’s sting comes back, leaves the funny burns on tongue, but man that’s super refreshing experience. A lot of Fieldwork’s hazy IPA taste like using similar yeast string? I mean they have fresh bread dough’s clean yeast aroma, not as fruity/bubblegum as Alvarado’s yeast driven IPAs. The Sun Plaza is close to a DIPA, so it’s a bit sweeter than average. The hops selection of Citra, Galaxy and Enigma is a perfect trio, I like the more floral Galaxy which fill the gap of Citra’s one-polar-orange character (but I’m a huge fan of Pulp and King Citra). So this is definitely a better one from Fieldwork’s huge lineup of hazy IPAs.
