Can into tumbler glass.
L: Pale golden with 1 finger of medium density white head with good retention and left limited lacing.
S: Pine, berries, and dank resin. Enough berry/tropical notes to make this a hybrid with some new-school West Coast attributes.
T: Follows the nose well, finishes with moderate bitterness, clears palate quickly.
F: Low-medium bodied with moderate carbonation, slick on tongue and swallow.
O: Definitely top tier for WCIPA recipes from Fieldwork for my palate and preferences. Absolutely seeking out again.

Thank you, Brian!
A clear gold with a rapidly receding white head with good retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose- well, this is 2020, and this is a WCIPA brewed with El Dorado, Mosaic, Amarillo and Denali, so you've had something like this before. Mosaic and El Dorado tropical notes are most prominent, with a blend of peach, melon and mango, but then swirling the glass brings out the classic Amarillo catty notes along with a little pineapple and pine. Mild jackfruit notes. Also, this has the Fieldwork house character with a very clean yeast and malt character ( bordering on sterile?)
The palate opens bitter and gloriously hoppy. Pungent and bitter tropical fruit, with melon, peach, mango and a touch of passionfruit, before a firmly bright and assertive pineapple and cat pee note appears. The mid palate is squeaky clean, with all the focus on the hops. Oily, resiny, crisp, clean. Bright, this is pretty magnificent. Light in body, moderately carbonation, this is excellent.

This is West Coast IPA gold for sure. Fieldwork needs to keep producing it, then they'll be living up to the name they gave it. Seriously though this is a terrific, new age IPA combining bright fruit & very soft piney/floral notes with easy minimal bitterness.
