Trends come and go, but the classics of the beer world will always be just that, classics. Adrianne exemplifies that in every way. Cutting no corners we lug pallets of malt fresh off the boat from Belgium up the stairs and into the mill to lay the foundation for this rich and complex odyssey of a beer. The perfect marriage between the artistry of malted barley and the bouquet of yeast esters creates pure harmony wafting notes of freshly sliced pears, apricots, banana cream pie, baking spices, candied orange peel, white pepper, and lemon rind. The end product is one we are simply in love with and always can't wait to share it with the dozen or so people that still order Tripels.

On tap at tasting room:
A tad hazy on this orangish golden-bodied beer. Head isn’t thick but is sustaining. Nose is a little on the bitter side, but spicy bitterness seems to fit. Coriander, orchard fruit, earthy spice, a hint of pine wood are almost all what I would expect.
Taste has a little citrus bite to it - pith and juice, and that throws me for a second. Initially I thought the taste was more in line, but as I drank it, the nose became more familiar and the taste drifted. There are still enough esters and light papery bite to feed in the larger Belgian realm decently enough. This is one where I feel a slight adjustment and/or a slightly different environment could adjust my score more than it would in many beers.

Half pour. A solid, if not spectacular take on the style. Candied malts, some Belgian yeasty zestiness. Solid mouthfeel. Sweet, bitter not overly. They didn’t screw it up and it tasted pretty true to the Belgian standards.

Poured from 16oz can into my BeerAdvocate teku. Canned 2/22/23.
Appearance: medium-rich golden hue with a dash of haze and two thick fingers of frothy ivory foam. Looks darn good to me.
Smell: malty with a fair dose of sweetness and some rather floral notes. It's a bit heavy on the sugar but still rather nice, and with the floral element a bit different from other tripels I've had.
Taste: like the aroma, this beer has quite a lot of sweetness to go along with its malt. There's a light, soft, pear character here which I enjoy, although the sweetness and the alcohol come through a bit more heavily than I'd prefer.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a good creaminess. Nice!
Overall: a perfectly decent tripel, but one that I would probably not seek out again.

very good quality and a unique version of a Belgian tripel. taste features notes of white oak, floral and buttery, not much banana if any at all. smell and feel are solid and the look is a little light.
