Draught pour in tulip glass at Sac. Vibrant golden, 1 finger of head with decent retention and left thick ringed lacing. Nose is floral and earthy, gains some tropical fruit as it warms. Taste follows well, finishes with moderate bitterness that lingers on the palate just a bit. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, more full on the tongue than expected for a West Coast pale.
It's good not great for my palate and preferences.

From a tall can purchased from the Berkeley tap room. A nice clean pale ale with a fresh myer lemon/pineapple aroma and light bitterness. Very modern style west coast pale: hop forward, light and minerally clean mid-palate, tropical notes from the Denali hops, with almost no lingering bitterness. Good if you're in for more than one or two.
