The name of this Nelson-laden Double IPA will come as no surprise after your first whiff; Supreme Diesel delivers an 18-wheeler of that diesel-like aroma it is so well known for. Not to sell this supremely awesome Double IPA short, on top of the aforementioned and obvious, there is a litany of complex and delectable flavors of passion fruit, guava, grapefruit, sauvignon blanc wine grape, gooseberry, and yellow currants.

16oz can from Tavour. Looks like orange juice, thin finely beaded white head. Aroma is over ripe citrus, near dank notes, melon, pineapple. Taste is fruity, juicy, zesty. Full, creamy feel. Super tasty, restrained strength.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass

A: Pours hazy peachy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.

S: Almost over ripe tropical, stone fruit, and melon, a little white grape and gooseberry, but I'd say papaya and melon are the standouts, slightly grassy and resinous, biscuity malt, and plenty of caramel sweetness. Kinda reminds me of a fruity Bath & Body Works hand sanitizer.

T: Intriguing mix of exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, papaya, peach, guava, gooseberry, melon, pineapple, apricot, white grape, and just a hint of passion fruit, a bit resinous, a little pine, slightly grassy, super faint Southern Hem diesel, biscuity malt, and plenty of caramel sweetness.

M: Full body, somewhat mild carbonation, soft and creamy, with a little hop burn poking through at times.

O: Not what I was expecting from an all Nelson DIPA. My biggest gripe is how sweet it sits, which I think suppresses some of those classic Nelson flavors, including the diesel-y notes they seemed to be going for. It's still a fine NE style DIPA, but if you go in expecting the usual Nelson zing you'll be left wanting.

Sweet citrus hoppy, hint of grapefruit, and prominent Nelson-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a tasty and balanced, grapefruit citrus hoppy and diesel-dank bitter swallow...hops are singing on the backend. This looks and drinks great...outstanding mouthfeel! Nelson lovers will like this one! This is great!
