Appearance - The beer poured a black color with little visible sign of carbonation.
Smell - Coconut was the dominant note, with cognac as the backbone.
Taste - Coconut led the way with roasty coffee and chocolate. Cognac laid a nice spicey grape backbone. The grap was poignant. It was smoothed over by the lactose. The finish was grape coffee.
Mouthfeel - Cognac has never been so smooth.
Overall - Cognac and milk stout never worked so well.
