Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 5/22/25.
Appearance: medium golden hue with lots of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: rich, sweet malt with lots of tropical hop character: I'm getting passionfruit and guava and maybe a little peach as well. Very nice.
Taste: the flavor is a bit more stone-fruity than the aroma, but there's still some nice passionfruit and mango in the works. The malt is quite sweet, almost too much so, but still overall the flavor is very good.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a good carbonation and a really lovely creaminess.
Overall: I am grading this one a little bit lower than the flavor and texture merit, because for my taste, it is getting very close to "way too sweet". Still a really good beer, but I don't think I'd order a second one.
