We named this beer Velvet Twilight because it isn't your normal Milk Stout, coming in at almost double the ABV of your normal milk stout there an insane amount of body that creates a mouthfeel like velvet, and if you drink a four pack by yourself you will certainly go night night. Makes sense now right? Making Velvet Twilight really stand apart from its sister-beer Night Maker, we opted to forego almost all roasted barley, instead using multiple varieties of chocolate malt to create a complex malt profile that is thick and rich with notes of dark chocolate, dutch cocoa, coffee chaff, Hersheys kisses, dark roast gas station mocha, fire roasted dates, and Old England Toffees.

A: Pours nearly black with a frothy dark khaki head that settles to a light layer and laces beautifully.
S: Roasty, espresso, dark chocolate, a little earthy char, a hint of vanilla, and some toffee sweetness.
T: Rich milk chocolate, roasty malt, smooth espresso, hints of vanilla, a touch earthy, and some toffee sweetness.
M: Full body, moderately soft carbonation, creamy smooth.
O: After a seemingly endless run of IPAs in the summer valley heat, a rich stout with a cool Bay Area breeze is touching my soul right now. Ridiculously smooth and rich, doesn't even need coffee, chocolate, or vanilla additions to show off those flavors. Love it!
