Fieldwork pickup, Summer 2022. Citra, Mosaic, Strata and Enigma hops. I just added this beer to the database at BA, and I'll write a review for the beer too because I'm the hero that BA sadly needs.
Pours a hazy (its a hazy dipa) beige color, unattractive color appearance, but it makes a good 3/5" sized white head. Conflicted. Hey either way, weakest link. The aroma hits a nice, its more than the Citra/Mosaic combo, there seems to be a good deal of equality in the quantities between the four hops at play here. Orange, weed, duffel bag, stone fruit all in a pretty big way.
Taste is pretty good, much better than the appearance. Enigma bitterness I suspect, works pretty well. Body is ugly, but does its functionality up, the alcohol is quite tame, its easy to put down, but retains a level of bitterness I prefer without feeling watery or trubby. I dunno, Enigma or something comes off similar to El Dorado here too. As usual, Fieldwork makes another really good tasting double ipa.
