Packed so full of some of the best Strata hops on the planet, Heady Money will send your palate on a one way trip to Alpha Centauri. Each year we select our two favorite lots of Strata and have them blended together before pelletizing to create our very own super Strata, and in Heady Money golly does it shine. Lots of body, with a sticky mouthfeel, and hops like candy waft from the glass with notes of strawberry, passionfruit, raspberry sorbet, Riesling grapes, ruby red grapefruit, cotton candy, mango chunks, and the perfect amount of fruity dank weed that blends in with the tropical fruit like a chameleon on a tie-dye tapestry. Heady Money is no one note tropical fruit bomb, its flavors meld and move on an almost daily basis showing off the anomaly of taste that is Strata hops and is the perfect example of why it has quickly rocketed towards the top of our list of favorite hops.

Opaque yellow with white foam.
Fruity hops.
Usually I get lemon-chill with strata but this one doesn't hit that note for me. Still tasty, bends toward OJ.
Carbonation is right.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Juicy tropical and stone fruit, red berries, ripe citrus, a touch resinous, faint herbal tones, biscuity bready malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Mix of fruity notes, strawberry hits first, followed by passion fruit, mango, peach, raspberry, papaya, orange, and grapefruit, subtle herbal and resinous tones, a hint of bubble gum, biscuity bready malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: A touch on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: I'm used to Strata being a little more assertive/aggressive, but they were able to make this one quite soft and juicy and show off some things I don't think I've seen from this hop before. Wouldn't mind a couple more IBUs to counter a bit of the sweetness, but I'd still happily have another pint.

Deep orange muddy looking haze. Nose is orange juice and candied strawberries. Taste is fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, red berries, and mango slices. Faint resinous bitterness. Peppery, not thick mouthfeel.
