A throwback IPA to 2012, when West Coast IPAs were packed with hoppy resin, pretty bitter, and super citrus-forward. This collab with Triple Rock Brewing was brewed to raise money for the Berkeley Fire Department's Random Acts Fund.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves some spotty lacing.
S: Piney, peppery spice, citrus zest, light underlying tropical and stone fruit, floral notes, bready malt, and just a touch of sweetness.
T: Resinous pine, peppery spice, citrus, lemon and grapefruit, subtle tropical and stone fruit, peach, apricot, and passion fruit, a bit floral, bready malt, and just a touch of sweetness.
M: A touch on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Checks all my boxes for a solid West Coast IPA. Nothing groundbreaking, but all around really solid and nicely balanced.
