S-Tier Release #8
The heart and soul of this over-hopped concoction lies in blending hops that are semi-like for like. One of the newest best hops hailing from New Zealand is Nectaron, which adds an incredible profile of stone fruit, pineapple, and orange citrus. Then we dosed in heaps of Waimea, one of our favorite hops for WCIPA or Hazy, littering in more notes of that orange and tangerine citrus, but with a moderate punch of pine needles. Lastly, we add in the classic, Simcoe, which also contributes some of those nice pine notes, but also layers in really distinct notes of grapefruit flesh and zest. All three of these hops harmonize to create a superpowered Westcoast IPA that lives up to its TDH moniker.
Hops: Nectaron, Waimea, Simcoe Cryo, Simcoe Dynaboost, Simcoe Hyperboost

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours slightly hazy (more so early on with a bit of chill haze going on) golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Sweet tropical and stone fruit with a hint of melon, ripe citrus, a little resinous pine, grassy notes, lightly toasty biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Juicy tropical and stone fruit, candied pineapple, guava, lychee, peach, passion fruit, and hints of melon and grape candy, ripe citrus, grapefruit and orange, a little resinous pine, slightly spicy grassy notes, lightly toasty biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, mild to moderate carbonation, smooth and slightly chewy.
O: Right on the line between modern West Coast IPA and hazy IPA The Nectaron does a lot of the heavy lifting and gives a delightful flavor profile, but I think a couple more IBUs from either the Waimea or the Simcoe (and a touch more carbonation) to add just a little more bite and balance would take it to the next level. It's super easy drinking and stands out from the crowd, but not quite S-Tier
