Good "old school" IPA. Nice and bitter with some piney and floral hops!!! Bought a 16 oz can at Total Wine in Chesapeake VA, Poured into a pint glass, this beer features an orangy/copper color, very lightly hazy, with a medium size white head. Head retention is a little better than average and there is light lacing on the glass. Aroma is piney and floral hops with a little orange and grapefruit too, but the hops win out in the end. Flavor is more bitter than many of the recent IPA's I have tried ( a good thing). A nice mixture of floral, piney and citrus ( grapefruit and orange). Nicely balanced with some bready malt, Mouthfeel is rich enough and has a good bitterness. This could rival O'Connor's "El Guapo" as a local Hampton Roads "go-to" IPA in restaurants.

From the bottom of the can: "CANNED ON L2 06/04/20 121? CAN I TOUCH YOUR MANGO?"
Appearance: The body is opaque and dark beige. It has a thick, creamy and frothy textured, light manilla colored head. The head has good retention and leaves some lacing.
Aroma: The overall aromas are pleasant but mellow. There is a note of pineapple that comes through first, then some mango, and finally some peach at the end. It has a bit of a floral rose scent at the end as well. There is a light bit of cabbage at the end.
Taste: Up front there is pineapple skin and pine tree character. Towards the middle that pine comes through even stronger. It finishes with a bit of alcohol flavor mixed with more pine.
Mouthfeel: It is on the upper edge of light bodied with some light texture. The drink has a medium bitterness with a lasting quality. There is some alcohol presence but it doesn't hamper drinkability.
Overall: It's a bit of an odd beer because it has the look of a New England IPA but it drinks more like a classic IPA in both bitterness and flavor. The can doesn't state an ABV (that I can tell) but it does have some alcohol flavor. The beer also has more texture than a standard IPA but it isn't as smooth as the standard New England IPA. As a whole it doesn't really fit in either category. The can also claims this is a "MANGO INDIA PALE ALE" but the mango only really shows up in the aroma. All of this aside, the beer has a really wonderful pine flavor that stays present on the palate at all times. Combined with the bitterness of the beer it really strikes a chord. I really enjoyed the beer even though it didn't really have much mango character. I would drink it again and I would recommend it with the caveat that it probably won't taste like mango to you.

A: A deep amber in color with a off white head. A bit dark for an IPA, but not overly so.
S: Grapefruit, and light tangerine, perhaps some tropical fruit in there.
T: Tropical fruit with pear, apricot, and orange zest. Some nice caramel and malt flavors, but not a lot of bitterness.
M: Medium body, with a little lower carbonation.
O Overall a pretty decent brew, treads the line between IPA, NEIPA, and a Pale ale.. Interesting.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Growlers to Go - Short Pump, poured into a pint glass. Had a bright amber color and a mostly clear consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Average lacing.
S: A decent, but not brilliant, aroma of hops, pine, malt, citrus fruit, and a floral quality.
T: Tasted of a bit of citrus fruit (orange, in particular), some light pine notes (lingers around the edges), a fair shot of malt (mostly in the finish), a tinge of the floral quality, and a good amount of hops (the big ingredient here). A pretty good flavor that's kind of a throwback. It's definitely hoppier than most IPAs today, but it loses a little dynamism as a result. Still, not bad.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A slightly uneven beer, but it has some endearing qualities. Worth a look.

I tried this at the brewery and was very impressed. It poured a clear copper with thin white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had hints of bitter citrus. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with citrus hop presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it was a solid beer.

Great IPA. This beer has good hop punch and flavorful notes that linger. It is a refreshing beer and worthy of consideration.

This is a perfectly fine and standard IPA. It's clear, bit more malt presence than might be expected but nice juicy hop notes come through. Floral aspects to the nose. Clean on the palate. Well made, just a fine IPA but nothing special or to seek out. Definitely one of the three best beer of the 9 I tried.

Was really impressed. Had it the Grand Opening and then again just recently. They really dialed it in. Great citrus/floral nose and the taste matches. Perfect bitterness that fades quick. Really great IPA here.
