From the bottom of the can: "CANNED ON 11/19/2024 S'MORE UGLY"
This was purchased from a shelf (non-refrigerated).
Appearance: The body is a darker shade of reddish-brown and it is slightly hazy. It has a short light tan head that doesn't last long and leaves no lacing.
Aroma: It has a light bit of a chocolate and caramel scent. The chocolate smells mostly like cocoa.
Taste: Some burnt caramel flavor with a bit of cocoa comes through at first and then it picks up more carbon flavor towards the middle. Towards the back of the palate there is a very light bit of wintergreen, and light bit of cocoa, and a bunch of carbon flavor.
Mouthfeel: It is on the lower end of medium-bodied with slightly high carbonation. It has medium-high roasted grain bitterness.
Overall: It's an okay beer. It mostly has this burnt carbon flavor but there is a light bit of cocoa character. It really doesn't give the impression of a s'mores. As a standard Brown Ale it floats in the average range. It's not a beer I'm likely to buy again and it's really not good enough to recommend.

Poured a brown body with minimal head and lace. Aroma is balanced between a roasted, bread like edge and minor chocolate sweetness. Not a boozy or heavy beer but thick bodied and a little sticky. Balances light roasted, bready malts with a chocolate sweetness that is not too sweet. Somewhat of a dessert beer that hides ABV and is a dangerous sipper.
