Poured a dark brown body with ruby tint with two finger head that died quick and left tiny lace ring. Aroma is more sweet with hint of candi sugar and dark fruits like raisins/figs and toffee more than yeast, hops, caramel malt. Fuller bodied, sticky, yet retains a crisp stickiness as toffee, raisins, figs, possible plums, mingle with bits of caramel/candi sugar sweetness and a slight hop/booze bitterness in finish that leads to dry finish. A little jumbled and not most exciting Belgian ale but pretty enjoyable.
