Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this stout had a surprising, almost clear, gold color. On subsequent pours, the clarity went away and the color became a hazy gold. A medium sized white foamy head capped this beer with better than average retention and some light lacing on the glass. Smelled and tasted like a stout though. Features big, slightly sweet, malty flavor with some coffee flavoring and a bit of lactose. Flavor is good and the mouthfeel is smooth and fairly rich. No real hint of alcohol presence or "burn". In all, a fairly good stout with an unusual color!!!!

L: Had this beer on-tap at Growlers to Go - Boulevard, poured into a pint glass. Had a bright, golden yellow color and a mostly cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head.
S: A very good aroma of coffee, chocolate, malt, cream, and vanilla.
T: Tasted of bit of malt (mostly in the finish), a fair amount of cream (more than expected), a hint of vanilla, a good shot of chocolate (always welcome), and a surprising amount of coffee (for the style). An interesting and well done flavor. It's light, sweet, and a little roasty as well. It's a different kind of flavor, but likable.
F: A decent amount of carbonation with a slightly slick finish. Light-bodied.
O: An offbeat, yet easy to like beer. Worth a try.

Poured a golden body with minimal head and has a strong, roasted coffee malt aroma. Smooth, light and creamy body with a slightly sweet lactic character mixed in with the mild coffee taste. Easy to drink as it's smooth and easy and the coffee and lactic sweetness work well together (not much else going on in beer).

A Blonde Stout, base seems more like a Cream Ale, but the aroma and flavor profile of this one is absolutely fantastic. Seek this one out, highly recommended
