This was purchased from cold storage. From the bottom of the can: "CANNED ON 06/30/25 STIR THE POT"
Appearance: The body is a murky orange that is darker in the center and a bit lighter at the edges. Light is visible through the beer but only very hazy shadows can be seen through it. The head starts out very large with a frothy texture and it is white. Good lines of lacing.
Aroma: There is a bit of a yeasty bread dough aroma. A light bit of apple but otherwise there's no scent.
Taste: Up front there is a bit of orange. This is followed by some wildflower and clover. The finish is a bitter root flavor. Some nail polish character in the aftertaste. The flavors overall just taste very strange and it isn't pleasant to drink.
Mouthfeel: It is full bodied and it has a stronger bitterness than what is typically in a New England IPA style. The can states "HAZY TRIPLE IPA" and while it does have a thicker texture it feels too bitter. When the bitterness is combined with the thick body it creates a weird drinking experience.
Overall: It is a poorly made beer that doesn't fit the style it advertises. I would not recommend buying this beer. I would not buy it again.
