Pretty good U.S. brewery take on a Hefeweizen. Poured from a16 oz. can into a Weizen glass, this beer featured a medium sized bubbly white head, a hazy straw yellow body and minimal lacing. Aroma and taste included some lemon, cloves, yeastiness and wheat bitterness. The flavors were not as strong as some of the top German Hefes, and the astringency and "bubblegum" flavoring were not really present. Mouthfeel was light, refreshing with the right amount of wheat bitterness for the style. An enjoyable brew for a warm day.
