Orange in color and murky in complexion. There’s a fingernail of dishwater white around most of the rim and a third of the top. Apricots, peaches, and sea salt are in the nose. I’m tasting very aggressive apricots and sea salt. The mouth is highly salinic, crisp, and refreshing.

Candied apricot, haribo peach gummies, lime and salt. Wheat malt undertones. Light, crisp and drinkable. Lots of flavor for a sub 5% brew. Not too sweet. Weldwerks makes very good beers.

Appearance: Pours a hazy honey color capped by a modest head; spotty lacing
Smell: Apricot tones with a lactic sour edge
Taste: Wheat bread and lactic apricot flavors at the outset; a bit funky, through the middle, with a salty finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: My first beer from this brewery and I am quite impressed; very refreshing

great beer right here. these guys are becoming one of the stronger operations around. the apricot here is equally pungent, but far more authentic than the cherry edition of it, and the sourness comes through a little more, not so sweet despite still being extremely fruit. i dig that complexion a lot. clearish for the style, a little orangey, but pretty clean looking. aroma is great, fresh apricots, super ripe, with a nice dry tang from the lacto, not sharp, but pretty intense. the fruit is there the whole way through, more apricot than i have seen in other beers like this, and ultimately a very satisfying late summer beer that screams for funky cheese and crusty bread, maybe even some pickles of various kinds, some nuts, its a picnic platter type of beer, drinkable forever, but also satisfying in small doses too. carbonation is just a little less than i like, but the acidity helps make it feel alive. these guys are doing some great stuff and their sours are catching up to their hoppy beers in terms of overall awesomeness. pretty stoked on the whole portfolio right now...
