Brewed with sea salt, coriander, and tons of passion fruit, DPFG is dangerously drinkable at 5.1% ABV and might be the best kettle sour we have produced to date.

Appearance - Pours light yellowish color with thin white head no lacing.
Aroma - Light lactose wheat and a am getting a light fresh jalapeno aroma.
Taste - Taste is a little muted but up front same jalapeno taste along with some light mango and a light tartness.
Feel - Light bodied tart and pretty dry finish.
Overall - I like what they were trying to do but use a little more substance and flavors.

Look is golden straw and pours with a finger of bubbly white head. Head recedes quickly into a very thin ring.
Aroma is passion fruit, some acidity and some wheat.
Taste is tart passion fruit, some salt, and some wheat.
Feel is thin and airy. Could use a bit more heft to it.
Overall a nice Gose but this thing could be world class with a few minor tweaks. A bit more body to it and a bit more tart and it could easily be fantastic.

its hard to not like just about everything these guys are doing right now. this is a solid gose at its core, with a lot of wheat flavor and body that i like to see in the style, and also with a nice salty briny minerality to it, not shy with either, and not trying to make this too light, i appreciate that boldness. the style in general has been watered down of late. they also used a downright ton of passion fruit in this, which makes it tropical, pungent, tangy, sweet, and very summery, although it might be a little bit to the detriment of the base beer, which i think is very nice underneath all this fruit. its almost pulpy to drink, with the natural tang of the fruit on a similar plane as the sourness from the lacto here, never sour, but pleasantly piquant. the fruit is very natural tasting, which saves this from being over the top on it. its cool how it kind of finishes twice, the beer first, then the fruit, both with their own little pucker. not overly complex stuff, but super easy drinking for the style, even while maintaining this body. weldwerks has become a household name here in colorado for beers like this, all their stuff is unique and great, and this should absolutely kill it for them as soon as spring turns on!
