Brewed with nearly 1,000 sugar cones, lactose, peanuts, cacao, and just a hint of vanilla, Chaco Taco Stout is the beer version of our favorite childhood ice cream truck treat! The milk stout base beer provides just enough body and sweetness to support the absurd amount of adjuncts. The lower ABV provides a surprising level of drinkability, even for a #icecreamtruckstout, the next frontier in the #pastrystout craze. With each sip, you can practically hear the ice cream truck heading down the street!

these guys are really going all in on these dessert stouts. this is like the tenth one i have had from them it seems like, all really good from a base beer standpoint, and all hyper mega flavored, nothing subtle about any of them. this one here is made with actual sugar cones, peanuts, vanilla, cacao, and milk sugar, and its downright diabetic on the sugar scale, way too much, totally overdone, but in small doses, im not sure there is a more honest expression of these flavors together. the ice cream cones add a lot, and there is some bitterness from the cacao and the roast of the grain, but its overwhelmed by the lactose, the vanilla, and the caramely sweetness of the cones. the peanuts are cool, they must have used a lot of them as they really come through this nicely, honest and natural and earthy and a little toasty, probably my favorite feature in this one. enormous body is exacerbated by all the sugar, and this sticks to the teeth and sits heavy in the belly. even a few ounces is a lot, and i taste it forever, not as nice in the aftertaste as it is when its actually in my mouth. cool its not as boozy as some others, but its no more drinkable, thats for sure. better than a gimmick, but these types of beers are slowly losing their appeal to me...
