We added maple syrup and 10 lbs of freshly roasted Mama Nelly's Peruvian coffee from Zoe's Cafe to a single barrel batch of Medianoche. This specific batch was aged for 15 months in a Woodford Reserve Rye Whiskey barrel.

Stopped by Weldwerks on the way to Ft. Collins to see what all the Medianoche fuss was about. You can pretty much guess what this beer looked like. Smelled like maple syrup. Tasted like maple syrup, slight booze, a hint of coffee and then some pancakes drenched in syrup. It was a decent barrel aged adjunct stout but it's not up there with the Bourbon County variants in my opinion.
