Given the absurd fruit rate, we should have named it something like Quadruple Raspberry Berliner, because this 4.0% ABV kettle sour is bursting with huge, ripe raspberry flavor in every pour and pours blood red

this is crazy stuff, you have to want as much juice as beer to appreciate this one, but if you do, its pretty darn good. about as intense as it gets on the fruit, i mean, holy cow, its cherry juice red color, blood red, fire engine, candy apple, like almost artificial looking its so saturated red, wow. the nose is tangy more than sweet despite all the fruit on it, a somewhat natural raspberry profile but a lot of acidity too, clean monotonous lacto with a lemony note but just a lot of astringent tang. the fruit has some of that too, but also a cooked down concentrated jammy sweetness about it, really pretty good, but over the top and almost comically fruity, more juice than beer for sure, i taste no grain at all, and aside from the acid that lingers, there really isnt a lot of yeast character either. i like raspberries though, in all their forms from candy to pie to wine, and this is all of that. deep intensity on the fruit, more sour than i can stand in high doses, but something different and stupidly robust. not sure if this is meant as a joke, hard to tell if its a gimmick, i like it, but one is enough forever i think...

This one pours a thick-looking blood red color, kind of murky, with a small head and not much lacing.

This smells a teensy bit diapery and medicinal, but there's huge juicy and tart raspberry all over the aroma as well. There's a bit of harsh funk too.

The slight issues with the nose are luckily not present here, as it's big juicy and seedy raspberry first, foremost, and entirely. This is basic and simple, but they nailed the raspberry for sure.

This is juicy, and but definitely quite thin, and a little watery.

This is my first beer from Weldwerks. It's certainly not perfect, but it shows that they can nail big flavors.
