Bloody Bits is a special Halloween version of Juicy Bits dripping with ripe raspberries and juicy hops in every bloody sip. We added a scary amount of Citra, Mosaic, El Dorado, Amarillo and Mandarina Bavaria hops (more than 7 lbs per barrel) to complement the ripe, juicy raspberry character contributed by the chilling number of raspberries that were brutally murdered to produce this beer. Chillingly gory and delicious at the same time, Bloody Bits is the perfect balance of both trick and treat!

Interesting beer. I get that this is a novelty. I get the Hazy ipa in the nose then the raspberries. Flavor is mixed. Not sure if the combo of the ipa raspberry works. It tastes good. But left me either wanting a NEipa or a founders blushing monk.

people have had a lot of good things to say about this one, but i didnt love it. its pretty to look at, rose colored in the glass from what appears to be a ton of fruit, deep pink, moderately heady. the aroma is berries first but not by much, tart and sweet at the same time, and impossibly forward, more of a puree than a whole fruit vibe to this, but i have no idea how they made it. the flavor agrees. the hops are great, they are boldly dosed, coming through this probably more than in any other fruited ipa thats this robust, notes of fresh orange, pineapple, and pine, dry hoppy but also vegetal and bitter in aroma and flavor. the hop profile is highly compatible with the raspberries, i like that relationship a lot, but there is a lot of residual sweetness and an almost harsh bitter aspect at the end, its too much, not cleaned up or refined quite as much as it could be, and one glass was enough for me on this, its too intense. the raspberry flavor is strong but good, and the hops are prominent the whole way. not my cup of tea really, but its pretty darn well done for what it is. these guys need to be careful to not become the flavored beer brewery though, too much of this stuff lately...
