Medianoche - Cherries Jubilee

This special version of Medianoche was aged in a freshly emptied brandy barrel for 12 months, then aged on whole cherries and Madagascar vanilla beans. This specific brandy cask was used to finish fully matured Woodford Reserve for the 2016 Woodford Master’s Collection release. This unique process imparted the barrel with rich vanilla, caramel and toffee character from the bourbon, as well as dark fruit and sherry character from the brandy aging. After 12 months in the brandy barrel, we aged this single barrel of Medianoche on both tart red and sweet black cherries, along with Madagascar vanilla beans, to craft a Medianoche variant reminiscent of cherries jubilee.
