The hops and juice battle each other, but the battle is deliciously welcome! Yum!

Appearance: a hazy dark golden or a cloudy honey-pollen color with an off-white head of superfine bubbles that fades quickly to a thin veil.
Aroma: honeydew melon, apricot, orange pith and light banana (hefe-esque).
Flavor: despite being a 2X IPA unexpectedly hoppy – a surprise as the nose does not indicate the hoppiness of this beer. Very clean hops. None of the fruit characteristics from the nose appear in the flavor.
Mouthfeel: heavy-medium – a bit too heavy. This beer is heavy enough that its not likely to sneak up on you. You’ll be full before you’re buzzed.
Overall: as a stand-alone, this beer is very good. I’d buy this again, but Juicy Bits is a better beer. That being said, this beer surpasses most of Weldwerks’ other offerings. This is a certain buy if you cross paths with it, but it is not worth expending much difficulty to pursue. I would say this beer’s caliber is equivalent to the best 2X IPA that is readily available in any medium-sized liquor store.

Boom! Big brew. If NE hop BOMBS are your thing here she is. Cloudy as could be pours like orange juice almost (no pulp obv). 4 pack from pint glass. 9% hides it well, go find some!
