This one pours a golden reddish color, with a small fluffy head and lots of lacing.

This smells like sweet cocoa, red velvet sweetness, cake batter, sweet tea, and cherry.

This tastes alright, but it's pretty exhausting. I wish it was creamier, and it feels a tad artificial. The cocoa flavor is definitely nice, but the rest is too sweet.

This is light bodied, kind of sticky, and not creamy enough, with a low level of carbonation.

I don't really love this, though it's definitely interesting.

its hard to critique this on any real ground other than the fact that its tired to me for being so one of a kind. why does dessert beer take the place of other more traditional offerings. its weird to me that people freak over this sort of thing, like, how many of these are you going to drink, and as such, why are bars lining up to pour it? beer drinking sure has changed... it is a unique shade of red, like a satin curtin at a comedy club, distinct and bright and alluring, with a short whitish head and a nose of cake batter, vanilla, and somehow tea, not at all artificial to me, bold as it is, and the flavor is right there with the aroma, desserty and rich and sweet, but also beerier than almost any other thing in this field i have come across, so while at the same time its annoying and confusing, its also enticing and delicious. tons of vanilla here, no hiding that, but some real grain flavor too, and a seemingly iced sweetness when i let it go there. a nitro sort of feel, soft and mellow, silky even, without so much residual sugar that i wouldnt want to drink a whole pint. for a style of beer i wish would go away, this is pretty darn good, one of the better takes on this sort of thing i have seen, which is i guess why we not only let them get away with it, but encourage them to keep it going. what have we become?
