A pint can with no visible date purchased at the Outer Range release on 09/22/18. Brewed with citra and 5 experimental hop varietals: HBC 522, HBC 568, HBC 640, HBC 644, HBC 685. Poured in my Outer Range pint glass.
Look- Pours a brilliant hazy yellow with a fat finger of creamy white foam. It very slowly recedes to a couple centimeters revealing thick lacing.
Smell- Spicy/floral, orange zest, pineapple, malt, yeast.
Taste- Slightly sweet and orangey up front. Next up is pineapple, mango, grapefruit and a hint of vanilla.
Feel- Super smooth, soft and creamy. There is some bitterness and acidity in the finish.
Overall- A world class beer brewed by two Colorado IPA heavyweights. The look is perfect and the taste and feel isn't too far behind. It's about as good a NE hazebro as you'll find in Colorado in my opinion.
