Notes: This brand-new Milkshake DIPA, brewed with the Pink Boots Society for their 2019 Collaboration Brew Day, is made with blueberry, pineapple, guava, vanilla, milk sugar and Idaho 7 + YCH Pink Boots Hop Blend. Proceeds from sales will go to help provide educational scholarships and other opportunities for Pink Boots members.

The particular stylizing of the beer name is a nod to Ms. Anna Cortese, who recently left WeldWerks to pursue other interests in the great city of Denver. She was the main organizing force behind the brew day and if you've ever had the pleasure of engaging with her, you know just how special she is and how much she will be missed by her WeldWerks fam!

Thanks Steve!
Canned 06/08/19.
Treated as a milkshake DIPA and was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a soft burnt amber color with an ever so slight touch of a chill hazy translucency. The head swiftly fell off and left some "here and there" semi-filmy lace.
The aroma had a strong sweet to tart blueberry/guava fruitiness with grassy hop notes and a touch lemon rind. What's so nice, or at least to me, is that the vanilla and milk sugar is so far underneath that it's not distracting like so many milkshake IPA's are starting to surrender to.
The flavor seems to meet in the middle by finely blending the berry and guava sweet qualities to some non-overbearing vanilla/milk sugar hints. Barely any aftertaste but seemed to have mostly berries and guava tones.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation like a New England styled one - mostly low with some key components of a smooth finish with some milk sugar and berries.
Overall, so many times, I've had milkshake IPA's where they are beginning to fall short and become long cloying sticky sweet messes. If anything, I feel like I can trust Weldwerks to make milkshake IPA's great again.

Canned 6/6/19. I have had on two separate occasions but haven’t sat down a gave a proper thought.
L: as expected from a milkshake of this age and has traveled, the brew is littered with floaters. That aside, it is a deep pink in color and completely hazy. About a finger of a frothy white cap formed from the pour with copious amounts of residual lacing.
S: very fruit forward, with aromas of berries, guava and milk sugar standing out the most. Smells sweet and inviting.
T: quite nice. Guava, blueberry, pineapple and hints of grapefruit are all there. Mild hop character at the finish then the lactose claims its ground. Sweet finish with a nice touch of vanilla. Definitely tastes like a milkshake of sorts.
F: darn good. Medium in body, medium in weight with moderate carbonation. No booze, just smooth sailing.
O: an enjoyable beer that I have enjoyed on each occasion that I have tried. I would drink again and if you’re into milkshake IPAs, this would be up your alley. I am very glad to try. Cheers!
