Can to tulip, the appearance was a nice looking chill hazy burnt yellow color. Some transparency with a quickly dissolving white head. No lace.
The aroma had what the brewer said - a full and tantalizing "s'more" character of the milk chocolate, graham cracker and marshmallow. Simple enough yet brewed quite well.
The flavor seemed to lead with the sour "wild" yeastiness but developed with some warmth a fine blend of the sour character to the "s'more" notes. Semi-acidic with some marshmallows in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping to sessionable tone to it. Decent enough carbonation. Some acidic harshness grips my tongue. Sly finish of sour character and marshmallows.
Overall, while no wheat was ever noticed anywhere in this beer, I'd still say this was a pretty good beer to have again. Interesting to say the least. Thanks Steve.
