Thanks Steve.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a murky/muddy burnt orange to copper color with a finger's worth of white foamy head delicately gliding off to leave some filmy sticky lace.
The aroma spoke of sweet to tart white peaches as if someone just squeezed the life outa them and added to the beer. Slight lemon to grassiness underneath.
The flavor basically just bleeds sweet to tart white peaches, all of the way through. What a superb aftertaste of balanced sweet to tart white peach flesh and skin!
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Nice low key carbonation with enough smoothness and mature grassiness flowing into the finish.
Overall, I'm left scratching my beard, the milkshake IPA was originally created on the East coast, now how in the hell is a brewery in Colorado running away with this style? I'm not mad, but curious. Insert "mind boggling" emoji here.
