Our newest addition to the Milkshake IPA family, brewed with what is best described as just an absurd amount of papaya.
.
Tropical dankness contributed by Azacca, Idaho 7, and Simcoe hops brings structure to what otherwise tastes like a waterfall of pure papaya while touches of vanilla and milk sugar round out the body to build up that classic milkshake profile.

Hazy orange with a white head. Shocking I know, but papaya leads the aromas, with vanilla, lactose, bubble gum. and slight passion fruit. Taste is much the same but you feel the sweetness much more, has a tang to it. Feel is sweet and slightly acidic, but hops reel it in, frothy and refreshing. I really liked the flavor, not complex but pleasing, however it is a bit much to have a whole can of. Thankfully the wife and I split, and she loved it.

Canned 10/16/19; drank 11/9/19 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dull orange appearance.
A violent pour yielded a big eggshell head; frothy lace.
Papaya, vanilla...and a faint, odd note that reminds me of vomit.
Medium mouthfeel.
Papaya & vanilla flavors up front; mild dry grass notes on the finish. No booze heat.
Overall this is good...but there's something in the nose that makes this off-putting to me.
