Pours with an amazing two-finger head, the faintly yellowish color of piƱa colada foam. The body is a mango yellow-orange color, hazy as peach nectar. Lacing looks like a range of mountain peaks along the glass.

Aromas of marjoram, pineapple, cumquat, pomelo, coconut, mango, raspberry, lime and booze flood the nose, leaving little sensation left to perceive the underlying shortbread cookie notes from the malt.

Tastes almost exactly like it smells. A little herbal bitterness to hold things together, but otherwise tastes like a tropical coconut milk smoothie with some shortbread cookie blended in. It's a little sweet for my taste.

And a little heavy. This could definitely stand to be a tad drier in my opinion. Perhaps too juicy...

But still pretty yummy. Definitely a sipper. Cheers!

L - murky, as usual, density is there as is the lacing on the edge.
S - bitter tropical fruit, citric core, pith pith pith.
T - doubles down on a drier, slightly more astringent, impression than most of their IPAs/DIPAs, not sweet at all. Interesting action from the Lotus and Strata. Really dry. Slight cat pee note, too, on both aroma and taste (it's ok! not complaining).
F - Solid DIPA carbonation on this, nothing "wow" but good creamy feel to it, a great neDIPA style.
O - a solid, but not their best, beer for sure. 2.13.20 canning, hence the name for V-day.
