Canned 3 weeks ago.
Pours hazy orange with a film of white head.
The nose is orange, pineapple, and gasoline. It has a cannabis note that is hard to describe. That rank/dank character adds depth to what is otherwise pineapple-orange juice.
Similar notes carry over to the flavor. Slightly sweeter and less herbal/dank than expected. Pineapple, mango, cannabis. Light to medium bitterness. Not getting Nelson's signature white grape flavor but am getting its signature musty funk. Medium sweetness counters it nicely and makes for an overall balanced beer.
The mouthfeel is also medium, maybe a touch above, with a clean finish.
Overall, very good. Intense but balanced Nelson character.
