Late Night at the Donut Shop is an Imperial Stout aged for 21 months in freshly emptied 7-12 year-old bourbon barrels and brewed with maple syrup, vanilla beans, cinnamon sticks, brown sugar, graham cracker and walnuts. Imagine putting a decadent Barrel-Aged Stout in a blender with maple-cinnamon glazed walnut dusted donuts. It never should have happened, and it never will again.

Got this from Claaark13. Cheers!

From a 500m bottle into a snifter
Bourbon BA stout with maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, brown sugar, graham crackers & walnuts

APPEARANCE: Pours out black and syrupy and yields a small, bubbly head that quickly recedes to a ring. Pitch black body with no carbonation evident. Looks syrupy and flat by the end.

SMELL: Plenty of bourbon on this one, with maple syrup, vanilla, notes of cinnamon and plenty of syrupy goodness all over it. Hints of brown sugar, chocolate batter and brownies. Really decadent.

TASTE: Flavorful with lots of maple syrup on this one, some brown sugar, vanilla cream notes, plenty of bourbon and s hit of booze at the swallow. Bold and syrupy for sure, with piles of maple syrup lingering on the palate after the swallow. There’s some bourbon, vanilla, notes of cinnamon perhaps, and some chocolate brownies in there as well, but this is very maple heavy, which is quite delicious.

PALATE: Fuller body and next to no carbonation. Super syrupy and slick, goes down smooth with a bit of prickly carbonation and finishes like syrup should.

OVERALL: This is exactly as advertised. Maple syrup donuts all day long. I almost think they skipped the entire beer part and just aged maple syrup in bourbon barrels, bottled it and put it on the market. It’s not boozy, not bubbly either, and tastes like I’ve just liked my plate after pancakes. Quite lovely. Check it out if you can. If you like maple syrup stouts, you will love this. Thanks again man!

Very dark appearance with slight tan head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a sweet maple with a touch of vanilla. Taste is also a sweet blend of maple and vanilla.
