L:. Pours a dark brown with notes dark red where the light hits it and no lacing on the glass.
S:. Notes of fresh grain, a mineral note, notes of caramel, aroma seems a little light for the style.
T:. Crusty dark break, sweet malt and caramel and a medium floral hop. The bitterness lingers on the tongue.
F:. Lower carb, smooth mouthfeel.
O:. This is a decent altbier but does seems to miss mark a bit.
