Collab with Other Half. Brewed at WeldWerks. Canned 1/22/21.
L: Pours a dark purple grape with a small pinkish head that quickly disappears except on the edges. No lacing. Could pass for red wine at a distance.
S: Lots of blueberry, toasted coconut, and granola/graham cracker. Pretty unique.
T: Tart blueberry jam. The coconut and graham cracker are not as prominent as in the aroma. Not getting much maple, almonds, cinnamon, or vanilla as advertised, but still quite a complex flavor. No alcohol heat at all.
F: Lighter mouthfeel than expected. Not milky, despite the lactose. Very little carbonation.
O: Very unusual, but not gimmicky. Interesting and flavorful. The appearance and mouthfeel were not notable, but more importantly, the aroma and taste were.
