Yet another hazy DPA from the Weld... amazing how they can pump these out and they are all so different yet awesome! This one does not dissapoint either- It showcases all of the things I enjoy about these beers- blast of aroma from massive amounts of dry hopping, a brilliant showcasing of hop prowess and selection (totally dig the hops chosen and they compliment each other wonderfully.) and a wonderfully balanced ipa full of flavor and drinkable as all hell. These beers are not your typical juice bombs folks, they will not leave want; rather there is malt (not a bunch of fake adjuncts added for the hazy bro quality.) and usually contain spice as well, they are not wattery-juice bombs like so many brewers seem to think hazy beer should be. If I ignore the price tag ($19 for a 4 pack yikes) this just may be one of the better ipas I've had in a while.

L: murky orange with a whispy white head that lasts; light/ medium carbonation.

S: Tropical vacation! Tons of fruit there- ranging from papaya, mango, tangerine, peach, melon, and a boozy hit too. Very nice! dry hopping at its finest, even with my allergies and nose plugged I can make out a lot here.

T: Another big blast of fruit, but man alive! there is a lot going on here. Lots of crystal malt sweetness, dank spice (not over the top but keeps things in check here.) and a light hit of booze on the bank end. all a clean and satisfying gettaway. Very complex and flavorul and still bright and clean all at the same time- its a work of art if you are into hoppy beers. (and may even persuade the staunch non-hop heads alike.)

F: smooth, silky clean and easy to quaff, no complaints here. Not thin or watery at all.

O: Very nice! I love the hop composition and the darker color gives away that there are a nice amount of malts here too .Very well balanced, clean, and enjoyable. Love the smell and flavor profile, would def. buy this one again and does not get lost in the mix of great ipa's in Weldwerks' prolific lineup.

Canned 12 days ago.

Pours hazy orange with a finger of white head.

The nose is peach, orange, melon, strawberry, and light dank green.

The taste is peach and orange with hints of strawberry. Medium sweetness, low bitterness, and hints of booze.

The mouthfeel is medium+ for the style. Flabby mid-palate with subtle bitterness and booze drying out the finish.

Overall, good. The strawberry note is the most interesting aspect of the beer. As I get further into the pint, the bitter/boozy character becomes more prominent, offering some spicy/woody flavors. A bit messy, but that might change with another 1-2 weeks in the can.
