16 oz. Can
THRED
Canned On: 06/12/24

Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, peach, mango, apricot, nectarine, grapefruit, pineapple, papaya, melon, guava), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, peach, mango, apricot, nectarine, grapefruit, pineapple, papaya, melon, guava), pretty nice little sweetness, very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. Orange Julius! Addictive! Milkshake!

Poured from 16oz can into my Natural 20 tulip. Canned 6/12/24.

Appearance: pale yellow hue with a moderate haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.

Smell: dankish aroma with notes of pineapple, citrus, and passionfruit. There’s definitely sweetness in the underlying malt, but it’s not crazy sweet — at least not in the aroma.

Taste: definitely sweeter in the aroma, with a nice combination of flavors that’s pretty similar to the aroma — pineapple, passionfruit, and kind a lemony citrus character. The flavor profile is edging up on a WCIPA with those more lemony, rind-ey notes. Not bad.

Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a decent carbonation and a nice creaminess.

Overall: seeing the date on the can, this might not be the freshest example of this beer. And though it doesn’t blow me away (and also doesn’t really feel like a NEIPA to me), it’s still a pretty solid DIPA.
