Brewed in collaboration with Casey Brewing & Blending

We took this fan-favorite Hazy Double IPA (8.7%) and gave it the full Double Dry-Hop treatment — amping up the juicy intensity with a bigger burst of citrus, tropical fruit, and pillowy haze. Expect everything you loved about the original… just cranked up to eleven.

Canned On: 07/28/25

Poured into a Trillium glass a very nice cloudy yellow/orange color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, peach, mango, apricot, nectarine, grapefruit, pineapple, papaya, melon, guava), very nice diesel like. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, peach, mango, apricot, nectarine, grapefruit, pineapple, papaya, melon, guava), pretty nice sweetness, very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. Orange Julius! Addictive! Milkshake!

never had the original, but this double dry hopped version of this is pretty fire, cool its a collaboration with casey, they are one of the very best, nelson and citra to the dome here, a lot of both but its not green, its so professional, sometimes the big dry hop imperial ones get gloopy and green, but this is smooth and creamed and well saturated without any burn, just fantastic. some density and murk to this, but its lively too, tall airy white head on top of muted sort of rust toned beer, plenty of body apparent but not all full of sediment or anything, almost looks can conditioned. the nose on this is great, juicy and ripe, pear and peach and some mandarin orange, less winey and grapey than nelson can sometimes be, maybe more from the citra here, lemon curd and a little candied sweetness from the malt, hop intensity is high, orange juice and coconut, a little sativa thing going on, some grain starchiness, relatively fresh but probably not quite peak. the flavor is bold right away, its not a middle or late hop climax, its the whole drink, which is rad, credit the extra dry hopping for that maybe, curious to try the original too, especially if its a little lighter in mouthfeel and all, but the potency of this is also awesome, even if it heavies this some. i get mango and papaya but its not all tropical juice, i get a little more vinous nelson, melon too now, as well as some pine sap type woodsy character, still low bitterness though, and the nelson and citra have different moments so there is some flow to it, very nice. soft feeling to a crazy degree, beautiful grain foundation to this overall, i dont mind the bit of sweetness lengthening it. great carbonation helps keep it drinkable too, and the aftertaste is great, both hops together then. i dont know if i could make a night of these, but its high quality hazy thats pushing saturation thresholds while staying approachable as the bigger ones go, really well done.

Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (10% clarity) medium to light pale golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)

Aroma: Strong aromas of aromas of orange, tropical, melon, mango, grape and berries.

Flavor: Strong flavors of orange, white grape, guava, lime zest with a green grape and green melon flavor underneath. Juicy.

Feel: Medium body, a strong carbonation, finishes, bright, juicy, zesty.

Compared to Phase Three Rule Of Thirds 9/25: Pours similar. Stronger aromas. More zesty grape, floral and vinous green grape. Less tropical purple grape and berries. Juicier.

Overall: WeldWerks Transmountain Diversion. Tons of intense Citra and Nelson flavor here. The Nelson shows extremely well with robust white and green grape, nicely balanced by Citra. It's juicy, sweet, and incredibly flavorful. This is amazing. (Rating: 4.34)

Canned 7/15/25.

L: Pours a hazy orange with a big white fluffy head that thins on top but stays around the glass. Thin irregular lacing that is pretty.

S: Aromas of mango, papaya, and orange.

T: A tropical melange up front, followed by some citrus prickliness. Finishes dry with nice bitterness. A touch of late heat.

F: Medium mouthfeel and carbonation.

O: A well-executed hazy DIPA that showcases a tropical-to-citrus transition while belying its ABV.
