Very good IPA, for it being 9%, its really smooth and doesn't have a strong alcohol presence. Very good, would try again

Drinkable with all the desired traits of a DIPA. About average in comparison to your typical west coast DIPA.

Pours a medium golden amber with coppery tint and a fine one finger light khaki head with great retention and lacing. Aroma of piney, lightly dank hops, light citrus, melon. Flavor is piney, citrus, modestly dank hops, caramel malt, hints of tropical fruit, orange citrus with an interesting unidentifiable estery fruit flavor briefly surfacing near the finish, which is resinous and caramel malty with a hint of booziness. Medium bodied with a pleasant creaminess, nice mouth feel. Just what I like, a nice malty IPA with plenty of intense but flavorful hops. I wasn't sure what to expect from this (the name is not encouraging… rejected hops?) and was somewhat expecting a lightly malted hop bomb. Glad to have a great malt body and interesting hop mixture in this one. Both the malt and hops are flavorful and well balanced. Liked this a lot.

500 ml bottle. Poured out a clear, orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of grapefruit, orange and pine. It tasted of tropical fruits and some caramel sweetness.

Juicy, very little bitter after taste. Good golden color to it. Nose isn't much to it.one of the better one hop (citra) DIPA I've had. Very drinkable as well.
