I'm trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a six sample flight. It poured a clear copper with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had bitter hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bitter finish. There is slight bitter citrus fruit present at the finish. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a great beer.

 

 

 

It was much darker on draft than I expected. Frankly, it also tasted a lot like a porter. In other words, I wonder if the brew pub served me the wrong beer.
