looks like this one has at one time been a blonde and at another a pils, definitely being pimped as a lager when we visited recently, simple beer, nice clean hop profile and ferment, beer flavored beer thats pretty well refined and should be agreeable to most palates. golden honey colored and clear in the glass, a half step richer than a lot of these look, but not holding much head, which is problematic in this style, and it could definitely use more carbonation throughout. nose and taste are the same, a european pale malt base, crackery and off dry, with a breakfast cereal heartiness to it, cornflakes and wheaties and such, and some noble hops that are more than just bitter, especially at temperature, grassy, dried flowers, maybe the faintest stone fruit note, lots of minerals, and some familiar lager yeast deployed in a reasonably effective way. its drinkable but not all that light, a beer that would make a solid bloody mary or michelada, kind of drinks like that to me. nothing special, lots of similar beers floating around the local scene here, and definitely not a standout here, of which there were several, some real ambitious stuff happening here, but its serviceable and i cant complain.
