I had this marzen, called simply "The Marzen," at the Depot brewery pub in downtown Reno. It was a beautiful, bright amber-copper with lasting big white creamy head, slowly shrinking to lasting thin top, some lace.
Aroma was caramelly-toasty malt, some herbal hop.
Taste was similar, dryish overall but not really dry with nicely balanced sweetness and bitterness. Character was firm with bright, clear flavour.
