Deep hazy dark golden color with floating yeast and chunks at the bottom. Light creamy and frothy beige 2-3 finger head, lasting around 5-10 minutes, with good legs and swirl reaction. Flavors of mangos, orange, lemon, light caramel and butter, peppercorn, and herbal hops. Slick and smooth medium body with crispy carbonation. Medium strength finish, zesty and citrusy (tropical) with faint leafy and piney sensation. Nice balance having a single IPA feel. Great freshness and well bodied. Overall excellent quality craft.

Appearance - This beer pours a deep golden amber in color and is rather cloudy. I poured it into a 12 oz tulip and it had 3 fingers of fluffy off white head. Carbonation seems very lively, as far as appearances go this is another amazing looking Double IPA.

Aroma - The name is spot on as far as the nose is concerned. It is almost like smelling a tropical fruit punch. Melon and pineapple share the top notes and beneath them sit your more bitter tropical fruits such as grapefruit orange rinds there is a little sweet tangerine as well.

Taste - Up front orange and grapefruit smash your palate followed by melon, pineapple, a hint of lemon and some peach. there is a cracker malt on the palate but it is definitely a back end flavor this is juicy.

Feel - This is on the thicker end of medium bodied with a very nice creamy feel but almost gives you a tangy kick. there is some bitterness in the back of the mouth but it goes down fairly smooth.

Overall - For the 100 IBU, 8%er this beer is it really is drinkable. It definitely would not be for the first time IPA drinker but for someone accustomed to the flavors of a well made IPA you will really enjoy how this beauty comes together! cheers!

A-Cloudy dark orange / brown, with an off white head that quickly dissipated
S-Tropical fruit bomb, with layers of stone fruit. Peaches, pineapple, and berries. Citra and Mosaic me tinks...
M-Medium body with spot on carbonation, resinous mouthfeel from the hops is nice
T-Subtle sweetness upfront with a smooth bitterness at the back. Tropical yum, surrounds this beer not just in the title but in the perception of goodness
O-This is a wonderful pleasant surprise. The can I had was about a month old, I will now troll for something more recent as I think a fresh version will be outstanding! Highly recommended!

Nice golden color, with an orange hue. Good thick head of white dense foam. Aromas of ripe tropical fruits (evokes especially passion fruit because of the combination of bitterness, perfume and acidity), with some spicy hops and oranges. Taste of tropical fruits and not too bitter for a douple IPA. Some peppery notes as well. Very well balanced beer, and we don't feel the 8% alcohol at all.

From a 12oz can, undated. Served in a spiegelau.

Pours a mildly hazed, copper-honey-gold with a spongey cushion of soft, ivory foam. Retention is very good and leaves fat, sticky wads of lacing sliding down the sides of the glass.

Sharp, clean nose of lemon rinds, lemongrass and crackers.

The taste follows the nose closely, lemon rind, grapefruit pith, grassy, oily and crackery. Clean, bitter and slightly astringent. This is not a complicated beer, it does one thing i.e., mainlines refreshing citric bitterness, but it does it so well that nothing else is required. Finishes resinous and drying.

Feel is crisp and clean (I'm getting tired of writing 'clean' but, fair warning, there may be one more coming), medium-light bodied and brightly carbonated.

Overall, an excellent clean-drinking (there it was!) refreshing beer. I have to say this is not what I was expecting from something labelled 'fruit punch,' with a picture of a pineapple on the can to boot, but I can't say that I'm at all disappointed. If it were available around here, I'd be happy to have it in my fridge all summer long. Nice job.

One of the best DIPAs there is in Quebec. The beer is creamy and extremely good. The smell is tropical, very close to passion fruit. The bitterness is intense but not too harsh. Vox Populi's Double Fruit Punch definitely deserves a permanent place in my fridge!

Hazed golden orange colour, one finger of eggshell head and some lace. Smell is big and fruity, hoppy, pineapple, mango and grapefruit, a little bit of sweet malt mixed with fruity resinous hops. Taste is hoppy \, massive tropical fruit up front, pineapple and mango with a bit of sugar dusted orange, big bitterness mid palate that leads to a fruity hop finish and aftertaste. Light medium carbonation, resinous and oily body, medium full body, nice sock hop feel. Really nice, something I can drink a lot of.

Golden bronze with a light haze, thin ring of retention leaves some lace.

Good hop aroma, mostly mango, some papaya, him of spearmint.

It is quite fruity and the bitterness isn't harsh.

Moderate body has a light hop acidity and slight residual sweetness, with a drying finish.

Can: Poured a bright orangey color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tropical fruits with juicy citrusy hops notes is incredibly enticing. Taste is a great mix of juicy hops with tropical fruit and citrusy notes, light bitterness with some hints of residual sugar notes also noticeable. Body is full for style with good carbonation. Great beer with great level of drinkability.

This is my first review so it may not be to everyone's standards. I love beer, especially IPA's so i'm kind of biased.

This beer is smooth, creamy and tasty. Obviously better served cold, ideally on a warm summer day :)

Pour it in a glass to get all the subtle notes but really good straight out of the can as well. Very fruity, tropical and delicious.

Hard to find as it is brewed in limited quatities but when you see it, get it. You won't be disappointed!

Quite strong at 8% but doesn't feel it at all, really enjoyable beer for non-IPA fans as well as hops is not the predominant flavor, tropical fruits are (mango, pineapple).

All in all, one of the best new beers I tasted this year, small brewery that deserve props for their products.

Enjoy!

Doing this one from memory

A: Looks a bit darker than usual IPAs I see around but not in the orange spectrum of things. The head is white and kind of macro looking? Not a lot of lacing and retention is pretty bad. EDIT: Last batch was much better looking with a paler color and much better head.

S: Strong smells of orange juice and peel, pineapple (duh), mangoes and maybe some pine resin. Some sweet malts in there too.

T: Follows the smell quite well from what I remember. Quite a bit more bitter than expected and a bit less fruity than what the smell could let me believe. There is no date on the can so it's possible it might be outside of the first month of production and the beer might not be at its best when I had it. But, maybe a bit too sweet for the genre though?

M: Not bad, but a bit wrong for the genre. I expect something is fluffier than that and this felt like a macro (like the head suggested). EDIT: Last batch I had was much better here.

O: This is a really good beer. We don't have a ton of good IPA's in Quebec and this is definitely a good one and very refreshing for the hot summers we have. Recommended!

Serving: Can
No date

It pours a chill-hazed amber-copper with two fingers beige head that rapidly settles to film and eventually barely anything. The is not much lace to speak of either. It smells fruity, sweet and tropical with an underlying malty hint of something short of caramel (pretty clean sweetness) bubbilicious, guava, strawberry. The flavor follows the aroma: tropical fruits intermingled with sweet malt oomph and piney redfruit hints. There is more of an earthy hoppy shadow that keeps the sweetness in check. There is less and less fruit punch sweetness and more resiny pine as it finishes.
A very drinkable IPA with medium-plus carbonation and ever-so-slightly hop-oily finish.

This is a very good IPA. Like a fruity old school west coast. The malt is there and noticeable but it is holding up the hoppiness and making it reflect well. The hops are there too but they blend to where it is hard to separate them. It is fluffy/crisp in the mouth and has a kind of sticky finish. I swear there is a hint of Hawaiian punch in both the smell and flavor. I wonder if they have that stuff up here..... This tastes far better. That stuff's gross.

Either way, it may not be anything face-melting, but it is well.made, has its schtick and does it well, comes in cans. Will have again very enjoyable.

Also, Vox Populi guys, why write "boire fraîche" si vous mettez pas une estie date là-dessus??

Cloudy dark golden in color with a surprisingly thin head.

Really nice tropical smell, lots of oranges, grapefruits and grapes aromas. Some apples and strawberries smells too.

In the mouth you really get the grapefruits, not a bad taste but maybe as much as a "fruit punch" like I was expected. Intense bitterness.

Overall not bad, but I feel like it wasn't as good as lots of people were saying.

Poured 355 mL can into my tulip glass -- nice white head, moderate carbonation, would describe colour as a hazy amber orange (almost like marmalade). Scent is really wonderful and densely hoppy: citrus and some tropical fruit, with piney overtones. Loving the aroma.

First sip: loads of hops, finish is sweeter than I would have anticipated. Not intensely malty, but it's noticeable in the aftertaste. Definitely growing on me, probably should have chilled it a little more beforehand. The can suggests 8C (46F), will aim for that next time. I wouldn't mind slightly more carbonation, which would offset the syrupy character somewhat. I think it'd be better with a little more hop flavor in lieu of additional sweetness, but that's just me.

Overall, one of the more flavorful and interesting QC IPAs I've tried.

For those of us just a little too far north to enjoy HT more often, a pretty enjoyable DIPA.
