Excellent version of a north east double IPA. Paid $ 3,59 can. for 12 oz can. So great price and great taste!
Goes down so quickly. Sweet but not overly so. 8% abv so be careful ! Lots of pineapple, orange and mango.

No. This just doesn't work for me.
Pours dark orange, which made me worry about malt. I was right to worry.
Head retention is low, the nose is somewhat off-puting. I have no idea where the single fruit punch is here, let alone double. It's ridiculously non fruity. Perhaps some apricot, but mostly it's malt.
Drinkable, but highly forgettable.

355 mL can from the LCBO; dated Jan 27 2020 and served slightly chilled.
Pours hazy and translucent, with countless sand-like sediment flecks strewn throughout the liquid; situated atop is one finger of soapy, bubbly white head that disintegrates over the next five-plus minutes. A wide collar of creamy froth sticks around, encircling a thin cap and paired with a lovely coat of messy lacing. Looks fantastic, and the aroma only excites me further - there's tons of grapefruit, lemon and orange in there, as well as notes of passion fruit, mango and melon. It's juicy first and foremost, but also include hints of pithy, grassy, vaguely resiny hops.
This is a very tasty DIPA, practically bursting with tropical fruit and citrus flavours - I'm detecting grapefruit, orange and mango, alongside hints of pineapple, stone fruit, passion fruit and melon. There's also some grainy malts and honey sweetness in the background, but discerning it in the midst of the fruity forefront is difficult; the tail end of the sip has lingering tropical fruitiness as well as some pithy, pine resin-y bitterness. Medium-full in body, with low carbonation that gently brushes against the palate, resulting in a soft, smooth, rather slick-textured brew. The alcohol is quite well-integrated, and I'd say this is extremely drinkable for any IPA, double or otherwise.
Final Grade: 4.26, an excellent A-. I don't keep up with the Quebec brewing scene at all - hell, I don't even really have time to stay on top of what's going on here in Ontario - but I've generally heard positive buzz about Vox Populi. If their other beers are anywhere near as good as their Double Fruit Punch IPA, then it's not at all hard to understand why. This is a fabulous strong IPA that I would pick up on a regular basis if that were at all feasible - for now, however, I'll need to stock up while I can, and I'd encourage other BAs to do likewise.

355 ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBO purchase for $3.40 CDN. Listed at a hefty 100 IBU's. Canned January 27, 2020.
Appearance - Pours a nice golden orange hued beer with 3 fingers of loose and long lasting white head and tremendous amounts of spidery lacing.
Smell - Juicy tropical notes, pineapple hints of papaya, mango and orange. Quite sweet and juicy smelling.
Taste - Very sweet, big time pineapple, hints of other topical fruits with melon and orange and papaya playing roles. A little bit of bitterness at the back end pulls it all together and makes for a nice tasty drink.
Mouthfeel - Medium-heavy bodied a touch sticky but the juicy sweetness leads the way with modest carbonation making this eminently drinkable, as drinkable as tasty punch.
Overall - Really good stuff here, easy to drink,m flavorful and juicy, very tasty and a top notch DIPA all around. Price-wise comparable to many of Ontario's best, and this fruity concoction stands among the best of them.
