355 ml can served cold into a chalice. LCBO purchase for $2.80 CDN. Review from notes

Appearance - Hazy pale golden peach color, two fingers of off white head and modest staying power.

Smell - Candied fruit or orange, mango and grapefruit, possibly candied lime as well. Certainly the citrus with with a hint of sweetness backing everything up.

Taste - Only moderately tart, candied orange, lime and greapfruit come through again with hints of passionfruit. Wheat backbone and quite intensely flavored.

Mouthfeel - Light bodied, good crisp carbonation, eminently drinkable. Really good stuff.

Overall - Top notch Berliner, it doesn't get too much better than this. Good intense flavors that balance the sour with the sweet and great aromas too. Well worth the purchase.

355 mL can from the LCBO; dated Feb 27 2020 and served slightly chilled. I loved their Double Fruit Punch IPA so much that I picked this one up with no hesitation whatsoever.

Pours a foggy golden-blonde colour, with one finger of loose, soapy white foam situated atop. Within a few minutes, it has been reduced to a thin collar and a light spackling of lace; looks better than average for a BW. I'm getting lots of lemon and lime on the nose, as well as a fair bit of grapefruit; that's in addition to some crackery wheat malts and tart yogurt acidity. My mouth is watering already.

A beauty of a Berliner Weisse - not overly tart by my tastes, but perhaps the citrus juice helps to temper the lactic acidity. Flavours of grapefruit, lemon and orange flit across the taste buds in a delightfully citrusy muddle, supported by a lightly grainy, wheat malt backbone, with lime and orange juice carrying on into a mildly tart aftertaste. Light in body, with aggressive carbonation that provides a spritzy, soda pop-like texture, especially early on in the session. An extraordinarily refreshing brew, and extremely flavourful in spite its svelte 3%.

Final Grade: 4.26, an A-. Vox Populi Kettle Sour Brunch is an exquisitely crafted cross between sour beer and mimosa, one which I thoroughly enjoyed from beginning to end. While I wouldn't call it particularly complex, its intense citrus flavours and mild acidity combine to produce a top notch summer refresher - put a few of these in your golf bag or backpack, then go out and experience summer to the fullest. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Can: Poured a hazy bright yellow/orangey color ale with a nice large pure white foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrus and light tart note sis quite sublime. Taste is a mix of fresh citrus zest notes with light tart notes and some residual sugar notes also noticeable. Body is full with good carbonation. It si indeed close to mimosa then a Berliner Weisse but the refreshing factor is through the roof.
