It's solid. An easy drinking brown ale that won't make you feel bloated and heavy even on a hot summer day. Really enjoyed it as it's a great change up from IPAs and pale ales. Body is a little thin but that's probably what makes it an easy drinker. I'd love to have this one on tap.

16oz on tap from the Big Bowl
Dark brown, almost black, smells like peanut butter. Taste also has a lot of pb goin' down. Savory and sweet on two fronts, this could have used more focus on hops. What hops /are/ there are very floral and in the background
An okay brown that focuses on the sweetness. A ton of flavor at just 4.3% ABV

A ton of roasted malts in this...almost like an American Stout. They use wild rice in the recipe on this which is intriguing and there is a light nuttiness to this but it is overwhelmed by the roasted notes.
Touch of dark chocolate too but again the roastiness rules the roost.
Light side of medium bodied...sessionable in that regard but the big roast impression makes it difficult for me to kick back a couple 13,14 of this. Kind of a stout/brown ale hybrid. It's good.

Roasty, toasty, but mild, not burnt. Great on a late summer day when the air feels a little cooler. Not too sweet, which is good. A fine, tasty brown ale. Sessionable.

Pours a nice brown color. 1 finger off white head. Retention is average.
The nose is very minimal. I really get nothing off it.
Taste is interesting. It is hard to describe, but the flavors explode on my tounge. It seems to have a caramel component to it.
The body is lighter feeling, but not watery.
Delicious.

Look: dark amber, small head that vanishes immediately, no lacing. Aroma: caramel, toffee, Skor bar, milk chocolate, all quite rich. Taste: rich as well. Maybe even burly. More caramel and milk chocolate. The toffee is there but in the background. Finish: sweet without cloying. Mouthfeel: fuller side of medium bodied, soft yet creamy texture, soft carbonation. Comments: it's a 50 degree night beer, and they have those all summer up on the North Shore. That is to say this is the beer for its time and place. Kinda like a dude I know.

Look: Dark, clear amber with a quick forming, light beige, not-dense head that settles down to about half an inch after a minute or two.
Smell: Eh.
Taste: Immediately got the nutty notes, and was less bitter than expected, very pleasant.
Feel: Well carbonated, a little harsh at first but finishes nicely. Lighter body.
Overall: A little lighter than I like in a brown ale but still drinkable.

Poured at the brewery. Light brown with low head and light lacing and unfiltered cloudiness. . Herbal and malty aroma. Dry on the tongue with good carbonation. The wild rice may be the source of the herbal notes. A drinkable beer, but could use some more substance in the malt and hop bill; it needs a little more backbone for abrown ale.
