2024 on tap.
English imperial stout. Reminds me a bit of expedition. Roasty with a lot of chocolate. Nice hoppy bitterness. Caramel, black licorice, molasses. Definitely will try again if up here.

Poured on tap at the brewery into snifter.
A: Pours a super dark black brown with thin dark mocha head. Hints of lacing.
S: Dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, fig, molasses, and a hint of licorice.
T: Dark roast coffee, tobacco, molasses, char, and a hint of fig.
M: Heavy body. Loads of dark toasty sweetness that is balanced with bitterness. Bitterness is a bit too much in the finish, but we’re nit picking now.
D: Deep, dark, and decently complex. A very nice offering from Voyageur! Well done!

750ml bottle. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled of bourbon, oak, vanilla, chocolate and molasses. Sweet chocolate and toffee taste with hints of bourbon, oak, vanilla and char.
