16 oz shaker pints on tap at The Tavern Grill.
L: Pours clean mahogany brown with a 1/4" flat creamy light khaki head that has very good retention to thick edge foam, light spotty lacing.
S: Floral, caramelized toasted malts, plum, a hint of toffee.
T: Sweet caramel malts, dark fruits, plum, raisins, light toffee, background brown bread, very light citrus, affably sweet. Not much after taste.
F: Clean, lightly creamy & soft medium-bodied with a mildly dry medium-length finish. Quite smooth and finishes clean.
O: A very tasty and EZ drinking Amber/Red Lager. Deep flavors and dry for being a Lager. I had 2 pints with brie pizza w prosciutto, artichoke hearts, tomato and balsamic vinegar & red onion jam. The beer was a compliment. It is excellent in its style.

On draft at Gunflint Lodge. Poured a clear, golden amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of roasted malt, toffee and light pine notes. Sweet caramel and toffee taste with a hint of roastiness. Mild bitterness.
